i have bought some from minispares and fitted them yesterday, i was not sure if they were to go to the bracket on the arm its self or if they were to go in to the subframe. in the end i chose to fit the banjo pointing forwards and then take the hose under the arm and using a zip tie hold it up and then through the hole in the subframe and put the nut on the inside so that i can continue it to a t joint then forwards to the front of the car

if you still need pics i can post some later

when i fitted mine the brake pipes from the t-junction did'nt reach and i had to make up some longer ones. i asked minispares if they had come across this before an they said no as they are the same size as the standard flexi ones.

i locked the end off at the subframe first, then locked the other end onto radius arm.

are you doing from the t junction to the cylinder, or just replacing the existing rubber hoses?

ive just replaced a lot of my braking system

Rear:
from the t junction at the rear you should have 2 small lengths of copper brake pipe, one male end into the t, one female.
the braided hose goes from a small square hole in the side of the rear subframe which is held in place with a locknut, and on the hole on the radius arm, which is also held in place with a locknut. you then connect the copper pipe from the t piece to the braided hose, and make up another length of copper pipe to go from the top of the radius arm, to the cylinder, braided hose end has a female fitting, cylinder end a male fitting

Front:
drivers side, you may find it helpful to cut a hole out of the inner wing if the engine isnt out.

theres a copper pipe from the servo/cylinder to the banjo next to the bellhousing engine mounting. when you take the banjo bolt out, make sure when you put it back in, you use the 2 copper washers supplied (as i didnt first time around and it leaked, so i had to undo the bolt and fit some) the braided hose is held in place with a locknut through the hole in the subframe, to which the banjo bolts into the top of the braided hose. the other end of the hose bolts into the caliper if you have 2pot brakes. then from the other side of the banjo on the subframe, theres a copper pipe leading around the front to the other side clipped to the subframe, to which the other braided hose should connect up to with a male fitting on the copper pipe, locknutted in place the same as the other side.

Everything on the front subframe is a pain in the ass to get to, but you'll get there in the end.
hope that helps, good luck! :shifty:

yeah pics would be great.

should both end of the hose be the same or does one end have a thread and the other a loop.

i have just fitted a new subframe with all new and uprated parts front and rear(front not fitted yet tho)

Ive got the longer ones with the banjo end to replace the rubber hose and short copper pipe on the radium arm.

This is a pic of mine fitted, i did trial fit them under the arm instead of over but when the arm was up it seemed to rub on the hose.

Hopefully these will help you.

I found the fit quite tight and had to tweak the bracket slightly

Good luck

I don't see the point of running braided hose all the way to the cylinder appart from cosmetics I guess.

Fitted mine like the previous poster as shown.
