ok looking to get an engine.

unsure what engine this is.

been looking on the minimania site

Its an 1988 mg metro engine with a 3.44-1 final drive on a standard ratio box. As per guessworks web site. Engine number page, Take a look. You did not supply the suffix code, so this is as much info as i could find.

it tha great thanks its just the block, tho not the gear box,

do u think there be any problems fitting a mini gear box. to this engine

No problems, Will it be the original box from the car? If not your speedo might read wrong unless you use the same final drive ratio.
