the engine number should be on the flat piece below the spark plugs to the right (second pic)

yeah i am i was told 1275 a+ but i would like to know where the engine number is so know a little more about it

think it is a 1275 a+
it has a pre verto clutch on it.
i have circled where the engine number should be

hmmm just got the sand paper on the area, i see lots of linish marks!!!! i take it the number is normally stamped. not good then
originally the car was going to be a twin engine project but the owner had another project and sold up. i fiquired it would be ideal as some of the cutting out was already done for yet another r1 project
i went to see the car and although it looks a mess the shell is SOLID, floor has never been worked on etc and those air inlets on the rear quarter are v.sexy! really nice finish. v.good price for the lot tooo

The number is usually on a metal plate on that flat section.
