But the problem is when both are running the high + mids are great but you get weak bass but when you go to use just one the bass is great so how do i go about having both running and still get great bass?
I was thinking about putting both into there own enclosure like the sub's have so they get free air would this help?
Also how would i go about making the box and sound proofing the enclosure's?
This is my first car install so as much help would be great.
Also before you ask i dont want to put a sub in the boot as i will need to use the boot for shopping ect.

Making seperate enclosures would help them but if you want more bass your going to have to fit an amp and some bigger speakers. Have you thought about 2 8" subs under the rear seat?

They are currently all four are unamped would amping them make a diffrence?
I had not thought about two 8" under the seat's but i think they would be an overkill + im not good at wood work either

Also i dont want to butcher the parcel shelf any more to fit bigger speakers. so that rules that out.
Cheers

1)add some 6x9's in the parcel shelf or under the back seats,
2)get some bass heavy speakers in the parcel shelf ( I have these: Link. ),
3)or as stated get an amp, possibly even a sub.
Other than buying new equipment all I can think is does your headunit have settings where you can up the bass/low frequencies?
Edit: I saw you said you wern't hand at woodwork, you can buy speaker boards for under the back seats

Try swapping the positive and negative around on one of the speakers and see what happens.

If your getting little to no bass with two speakers but plenty with just one then one of the speakers is wired 'out of phase' or back to front in laymans terms.
Try swapping the positive and negative around on one of the speakers and see what happens.
Cheer's Mate thats solved it !
Cheap way to solve it!
Cheers for all of your help
