Hi all,

Trying to prep the car for respray and when I came to take the wheel arches off the screws used are great headed bolts (offset pozidrive) that won't come out. When I tried to unscrew them, they were just spinning but not coming out. I've tried to apply pressure from behind while trying to unscrew but that didn't work, I've tried drilling the head off but this just spins it into the plastic wheel arch. Has anyone got any other suggestions for getting them out please?

I have tried to get at the back of them but cant find anything. Its on the rear arches and i cant access the rear of the screw. Also the original post has had the text changed as it is meant to read G R 8 headed screws, i think they are some sort of securiyty screw.I have got the correct screwdriver bit ,but this isnt helping

wedge the screw head with a little wooden wedge (wont damage paint and can be cut of a scrap bit of softwood), the drill it. or again using wooden wedge you could lever it out whilst spinning it.

just an idea? :D
