Has anyone put a motorcyle rear can as their back box on an A series engine? I was thinking it would look quite cool having the exhaust sweeping up and parallel with the rear valance, so you can see the can.
Has anyone got pictures of this?
Or is this something that would not benefit the engine, i.e, not help with getting rid of the emmisions effectively?

I have seen some pics on here of a carbon sleeved can that looks very similar to a bike can but most probably very different! Would imagine most back boxes be some what similar to
bike cans if they are both meant to be straight through but a stock car one will not be id imagine.
I have 2 standard silencers from an mt-01 yamaha bike i had ages ago wonder if I could use both or one! lol

cheers mini-jon, that was my idea. was looking at a yoshimura or similar kind of exhaust.
Only diference is mine is de-bumpered, so would i need a guard or something to pass the mot? or to stop people burning themselves on it when parked?

thats not for me to say dude, it's your car.

personally i thought it looked gash and it definately restricted my engine at the time, although my engine was turbo'd so needed a much freer exhaust system than normal mini's but that was a micron race spec carbon can.
