Hi All,
I've seen a lot of posts on Mini Indicators but i've taken all advice and still no hope. Basically the car runs perfectly, apart from the fact that the indicators/horn dont work. I have changed the Hazard Switch, both relays and fuses look fine. Didnt know if anyone else had the same problem.
Hope someone can help and sorry for another Indicator Related Question =p

I have the exact same problem. Everyone has said it is likely to be the stalk.....but how do you check/fix it??
Thanks
Tim
Hi
Any joy on the indicator stalk - I have the exact same problem at the moment - nothing is operating from the stalk - however - when I disconnect the power wire to the horn I see I have 12V there when the horn stalk is pushed in. If I wire 12V directly to the horn it works but if I reconnect the wire from the stalk there is no horn! really do not understand this - any help will be appreciated!!

it just breaks and fixes itself when it pleases,
last night it was my right hand stalk so i had no windscreen wipers.

Was just driving into work 5 minutes ago and had a little puff of smoke in the cabin emerge from where you put the key in the ignition.
Beams and hazards and all other functions are fine, just the directional indicators aren't!
Which fuses should I check?
Really need this sorted tonight as I need to make a 90 mile trip tomorrow lol.

In short your hazzard warning switch has failed and you need a new one. The power for your indicators is routed through the hazard warning switch. If the contact that supplies the power within the switch corrodes or gets mucked up you will not get a power feed to the stalks ala no indicators.
However when you switch on your hazzards you are useing a different set of contacts within the switch hense why the little mother is so big.
In short all of you go and buy new hazzard warning switches.
Someone sticky this in the tech section please.

Did a little more digging up on the forum and you've pretty much confirmed my suspicion!
Thanks again!
