Hi my name is Dan and i own a 1973 mini 850

I live in Tile Hill and am not part of CV1 Mini's but i need a spot welder to attach sills and A-panel's i could hire one but am a lowly student who is very poor i was just hoping a kind soul would lend me a spot welder for the afternoon shouldn't take too long as it is all prepared to be welded on.

I know this is extremely cheeky and rude but if anyone would be kind enough i would be eternally grateful.

Yeah i thought as much but it was worth a cheeky punt. Ill just pop down HSS during the week is it still on the A45?

I might come join you this week.

The car is in a restoration phase at the minute (which means ill be turning up in a dodgy old clio) so i'm looking for ideas

I'm thinking old english white body black roof but that is about as far as i have got.

Where abouts in tile hill are you? im on Tile Hill Lane.

Station avenue opposite the bell inn pub. I think ive seen you actually, i drove past 5 or 6 mini's on a drive on tile hill lane.

unless there happens to be another mini owner on tile hill lane in which case i havent seen you.

I was going to come to the meet last week but i ended up working on the mini until 9 o'clock and i figured you would have all disappeared by then.

were normal there til about 11, well some of us anyways,

if worse comes to worse then you could probably use the spot welder in the uni.
