Hi All,
I'm looking for some bullet connectors, but they're smaller than the usual size you can pick up from halfords and the likes.
Basically, i've just brought a Mk1/2 rear plate hanger, and the light to go with it. the connectors inside are these brass bullet sockets.
does anyone know where i can find these?
Thanks
Sam

You bought a Mk1/2 rear plate hanger with lamp assembly? Take a close look at what is there.
If you have what appears to be a small female socket... that IS your bullet connector. Remove it and you should find a small hole punched through the domed end. What you are supposed to do is run the stripped wire through the center, fold it back over the outside of the bullet, then plug it into the lamp's terminal.

Look 1/3 the way down the page for item #249. That's the type of bullet I'm used to seeing on early lamp assemblies.
Item 250 is MUCH more common in either crimp or solder form.
Now look at the picture in this link:

That's a double ground terminal. You should find a similar "coiled" female contact inside your lamp assembly. The bullet with folded over wire is inserted into that coiled contact.
