hi guys,

i've just recently purchased a mini as a project, basically its got drums all round and i was wanted to convert the fron to discs. is this possible? what parts do i need to source? will i need a brake servo? and can i take this from anther car?

Get a complete 8.4" disc setup from a later mini including driveshafts etc. Should be around £50.

You WILL have to run 12" wheels because 10's wont fit.
You should replace the rear drums and studs with the spacered type from the later minis as the track will be different if not.

You dont have to use a servo, personal choice that.

Search theres previous posts on how to do this not long ago.

Erm yes really ! Well unless you like an 'interesting' drive where the rear end likes to go before the front end !!!

Yes, girls are allowed to have knowledge about cars !!!! :tongue:
