Hi guys,

Here is the big question: what is the weight of a standard mini conrod (naked)?
I asked Arrow the same question and the answer is 500g.

I'm hesitating between two engine kits from med-engineering (Road XT or XTR and Road Dynamic) where the big difference stands in those conrods.
I will only choose them if the weight difference is significative... since I know they will reduce the weight of my bank account by about 1000GBP.

Has anyone an one old conrod and a weighing machine?

Thanks
DT

A fully worked A+ rod is 600-610 grams dependant on who modifies them

Thanks, that's a huge difference to 500g : -17% of conrod weight x 6500 RPM ...
I'll have to see if I have the money for them!!

It's also like comparing chalk and cheese.... not only are the Arrow rods lighter, they are a damn sight stronger....
