Hi,

Im nearly at the stage of building up my doors, once I get the Mini back from the paintshop, and I was wondering what people use / factory used for the Sealant around the window regulators.

Thanks in Advance
Sam

its the same stuff that you could buy for bolt on wings, it went between the wing to inner wing flange, it comes in a roll and you could buy it from old school iron mongers etc.

Have you tried turning it off and on again?

I also was advised to use Eldro Dum Dum, not got around to using it yet as I'm not at the right stage but it looks like good stuff.

I need to do something with mine also as I have discovered this is where the rain is getting in.

I was going to use some silicone sealant. Anyone any experience of this instead of the options mentioned?

Thanks

Steve

Shouldn't use silicone sealant anywhere on a car really. Makes for some horrible reactions when you come to paint the area.
