hi, not sure if anyone can help, but my cd player refuses to eject the disc its got in it. ive read the manual and all it says to do is push the reset button, which i have done several times. so anyone got any ideas?
cd player is a sony cdx-gt929u if it helps.
failing that, anyone know anywhere cheap to sort it out?

Have you tried pushing another cd in the see if you can move the stuck disc?Or unplug the cd player from the mains and re-plug it and see if this gets the disc out.Other than that it may well be goosed!

i cant push another cd in, as the face thing has to move electronically to eject the disc, ive tried disconnecting it, etc, still no different, thanks anyways.

often there is a tiny hole that a pin fits in to under the slot somewhere that is the mechanical release for the cd mechanism
