Well, we offically started this project on Sunday 29th of Aug.
It all stated back in 2006 when dad bought a dud of a van and drove it from Cumbria to Cork, Ireland via Reading.

It has been sat in the shed while i finished my own mini.
When a metro gti came up for sale cheap, i grabbed it and decided to do a K series conversion and get the ball rolling on this restoration.
We are hoping to have it finished for may 2011 and ready for IMM 2011 in switzerland.

The rust had worsened dramatically, the previous owner had restored it by welding new panels over the rust.great. :gimme:

Heres what was done sunday :P

right this will be getting bike carbs treatment at some stage.
also
flip front
tubed rear arches,
smooothed bumpers?

and few more trick touchs, but fitting an AFh to my polo first
