hello im in need of some help,

ive been doing some repairs to my boot floor, and there was a bracket which the strap for the fuel tank, but annoyingly ive lost it when i was clearing up all the scrap metal.

i cant find one of these brackets on any of the websites, and i dont want to pay for one either, so if i could just get a picture and maybe some measurments of the the size and position of it that wuld be fantastic so i can make my own :gimme: its a 89 mayfair with a standard tank,

thanks in advance

ben

You could make one out of an old belt or something similar and bolt it in. Would be easy enough to judge the length.

If I'm right, you're not after the strap that goes around the tank, but the bracket on the boot floor it bolts to. That being the case, you want one of these:

Even better, they're cheaper than the strap - £6.79.

Cheers,
