50 hp at wheels.Pure guess, not knowing exhaust and system,standard head? inlet manifold.Hope you are pleasantly surprised, but RR's dont respect your feelings

Its a water heated inlet manifold.

Then i have a play mini LCB straight through pipe then a minispares centre exit 2.25" back box. stainless.

82 at flywheel I reckon Phil. You never know, you may just be able to keep up with us now

Wouldn't mind putting the 'S' on a dyno, how much is it costing Phil?

See, it's more economical then a prius! Don't get flowers coming out the back of them. I think he said it's £60 an hour (give or take) plus vat. He seams quite a decent chap as I only booked it in yesturday about 2 o clock.

Blimey. am I missing something. The MG and cooper 1275s only managed about 75 and they had the valves and cam to help. I struggled to just get 80 on my 1275 with a 731 cam and MG head and the manifolds and carb and 1.5 rockers.Cant see the extra 18cc doing that much.Have you done the dyno'ing yet Phil?

results are in! ad to go to work straight from dyno hence me not replying all day.

Peak Power - 78.8 bhp at 5768 rpm
Peak Torque - 84.7 lb ft at 4424 rpm


dead chuffed anyway and its running nice and smoothly.

suppose ill have to start saaving for a 7 port now

See that rocker cover probably adds a good 5bhp

i heard bonnet stripes give 5 bhp also. may invest in some of those.

i dont get the rocker cover bit tho?

nah mine came from moss i think. definatly bought it new may not of bin from moss tho
