Hello everyone,

I have found some play in the right radius arm of 1994 Cooper. I just measured the play with a dial indicator on the center of the wheel and pushing in and out applying some amount of force in either direction. There is no clear "clunk" and stop, so I pushed until I felt resistance. The play on that side is less than .090 inch.
On the left side, there is no visible or feel of play. However, applying the same technique with the dial indicator I get less than .030 inch. of movement, so there is some.
I have not found any criteria for acceptable play in the repair manuals. I have owned the Mini for just over a year so my experience with it is limited. Does anybody have some experience that might relate to these numbers? Is it bad or good enough?

Thanks,
Ivan
