I have my 1275 A+ from my midas which has now been scrapped and im going back to minis (the skyline is getting to expensive to mod any further, so its back to my old love, the mini. yeah i know im not going to get anywhere near the 400bhp at the wheels like the skyline but oh well. My train of thaught, without any look at what is out there is as follows: the engine at the moment is standard so all this is just what if and buts for now.
1275 bored +0.40
266 cam
21253 pistons (flush to deck)
ARP head bolts
Duplex or belt conversion
1.1 straight cut drops
1.5:1 roler rockers
3.44 FD
Stage 2 (poss 3) head - big valves
double springs
Fueling - HIF 4
red top pump
Now as i said ive been away from mini for so long now im not sure what this will produce, or what its even going to be like and as said i have done no homework yet so please dont jump on me with large sticks just yet, but any thaughts or comments are welcome.
Had it of been a skyline i would have all the answers, been there done that and got the car to show it.
Anyone know what a +0.40 equates to from a 1275 as well........... 1293? 1330/40?
