Reaplced all my shocks now with uprated KYB ones much better ride. Did the front first and sure i greased the pivots where the damper slides on.
For the rear I have forgotten to do this and now sure I have a squeak or a creak coming from the rear tank side. Im guessing this is because I didnt grease the lower pviot or should this not be needed?
I did notince on the to stock dampers there is like a rubber bush in end with a metal ring, where as new KYB ones are just solid with a pivot hole would this matter? or make much of a differece?

There should be enough movement, if you undo the nut, to pull the shocker back and get some grease on the pin. It shouldn't make much difference though. Did you fit penny washers either side of the lower bush? I'm sure there will be a bush even if it's painted over.
Also, have a close look at the upper mounting, they do rust & a new stiffer shocker might have started to push its way through the arch.

Yea hope so I dont fancy moving tank again to get shock off! yeah washers as were on there before none came with new shocks.
Does look like a bush but painted over and its very hard bush i guess so cant move it by hand.
Arches are fine luckily very clean all in only a small but of rust on drivers side arch near bottom of arch.
Just got rid of some noises and along comes another one a squaek this time lol!
