Removing My Dash Rail

is it that simple lol do i just need to take my dash out then undo bolts and pull off ??Tot pail is held on by 3 nuts

It is that simple, you have to undo the nuts, but the bolt is welded onto the rail, so you kinda have to hit it up then pull it towards the seats.
However, mine doesn't have a middle bolt, the previous owner has chopped it off. I'm not sure how easy it would be to get the rail high enough to clear the hole before it hits the windscreen (if that makes sense).
It just took mine a whack upwards at both ends then it came out
I can take pictures of the bolts if it helps.

i think there are about 8 ish, then there will be a chrome strip on the back (possibly) take that off.
then you just have to lever the foam around the switch panel, then the whole thing just falls off.

no, bottom one just slides off, what you need to do it remove all of the little clips that hold the vinyl on.
i think there are about 8 ish, then there will be a chrome strip on the back (possibly) take that off.
then you just have to lever the foam around the switch panel, then the whole thing just falls off.

ok many thanks i need to send them off to retro retrims for recoving from what i can make out it comes off in 2 pieces ?

yep the bottom one im taking both off if you have pics of both that would be goodwhat the bottom one? no thats just one piece i think ive got some pictures somewhere

yh mine is held on by them so thats ok to bolt it back on ??my one is held on with 3 metal ( [ )of them <<, they hook inside the rails so you might not, but you might be able to so best have a look/
