I just bought some Mk2 lights for my 1990 Mini and just wondered how to earth the clusters? The present lamps (with the reversing lights) has a earthing connector at the bottom. I can't see how I could earth the Mk2's. Anyone have an idea?

Thanks

Jason

Ring terminal under one of the securing nuts.

Originally the pressed nuts that hold these clusters on had three little 'teeth' that scratch through the paint and earth onto the body of the car.

As above i just fitted a ring terminal to the earth and put it over one of the securing bolts :P

Cheers guys, I bodged some wire together... then realised it was getting late. I'll have to buy some ring terminals and some solder tomorrow as I feel I want to do it right once instead of rushing it... I also have to figure out how to have a reversing light/lamp, I don't really like the look of those under the bumper hanging lights or those lucas style lamps (tad expensive too!). Was thinking of putting the reversing light on the back shelf like a TVR... Just can't remember what TVR I saw it on.

Thanks again dudes!
