been having problems for a while now, good job i only drive during the day. whats happening is on my 84 city 998 ive got minimal lights working for some reason, suddenly i have no dip or high beam, and no indicators. i checked the fuses, and i found one blown fuse out of the 4 or 5 that are there, i replaced it and the indicators turn on but dont flash.

when i turn the light rocker switch onto sidelights, they work, but the instrument light comes on with the blue high beam indication, same if i put it onto dipped beam, no lights, just sidelight and the high beam indication on instrument dial.

im getting the brake lights and the sidelights but thats it.

any clues? everythings wired up correctly where the headlight bullet connectors are wired in behind the front panel. it just happened all of a sudden when i put my removeable front end back on.

Sounds like a bad earth. I'd start by checking the plug from the car to the flip front, WD40 into the terminals. Then run a wire from the lights(body) to the engine earth or direct to the battery.

there is no plug to the removeable front, its all original wiring, so has the seperate bullet connectors for each wire.
