Hi all.

I'm looking to buy some goodies next month for the car, and i'm interested in a nice torquey engine aswell as power. As a guide, my mini is roughly 50hp currently.

Can anyone tell me what results I can get from this list on a 1275 unit:

Stage 2 Cylinder head
Minisport ultralight flywheel
Single Hif44 (1 3/4 inch)
Maniflow Exhaust LCB Manifold - Stage 2 Hi Flow

Thanks in advance :)

Cylinder head "stages" are different to each engine modifier. A sage 2 head from Minispares, for example, may be a totally different performance upgrade to one from Minisport. These will obviously give very different results in power and torque gain. The lightened flywheel will give absolutely no power or torque gain, it will simply allow the engine to rev up quicker at the expense of lumpiness at idle. The exhaust will also give varying results depending on manifold/exhaust options. Get hold of the Vizard book Tuning BLs A-series engine if you want to see more details of what to do with what you've got already as well.
