I would save your money mate,if you`ve deseamed the front of your mini they`ll be a hassle to fit as the bracket fit behind the bumper, and on the bumper lip.The spotlights are far too big for the brackets anyway and point down towards the road.If you want some extra lamps what about a grill with two spots in it?Or a pair of rally style two up two down brackets to fit four large lamps?

i had a look at those grilles but im not sure i have enough space behind to fit the lights in, ive also considered the 2 up 2 down option but i cant seem to find anyone who supplys the brackets. a mate of mine has an italian job bar with the mounting brackets welded on backwards but i dont really like the 3 lamp combo.

thanks for the information about the spots though.

acctually while im here has anyone got pictures of the mark 1 cooper s grille with the spot light holes???

like this

Try Demon Tweeks for the brackets for two up two down.

I've discovered Mini Sport do them also.

They only get them in to order though. Made by a company called Roland Kerr Ltd.

I have two of these lamps fitted along with two smaller 5" lamps (see below). Mine are not connected to the front panel at all, but are attached via a "low tubular lamp bar" that bolts directly into the front subframe mounts. (making them very securely mounted and with no direction/ wobble or shake problems,) and would also be suitable for a deseamed front end.

The lamp bar was supplied by a Mini roll cage manufacturing company called "TT Lyle" a few years back, not sure if they are still trading these days or not though!
