12" Wheel Conversion

Anywho... i think i am going to buy a gorgeous set of 10" wheels but i am currently on 12's... is all i need to do is buy the brake sonversion kit from say mini-spares?? is it really that simple??

while were on kinda stupid questions about conversions, can you still fit a 12" wheel on to the hub after the conversion? i.e running 10's and carrying a 12 as a spare?

Do the 10's and 12's have the same rolling radius then? If not then it can't be a good idea to carry a 12" as a spare - I wouldn't fancy driving with a 12" on one corner of the car and 10"s on the other
good point, however it wouldnt be permanant. just as an emergency escape route.
failing that, carry two and have on end of the car higher than the other.

They are:
For 10" with 165/70 = 9.55"
For 12" with 165/60 = 9.89"
For 13" with 175/50 = 9.94"
Bear-in-mind that the tread depth is around 0.3" useable and you will see that a min tread 12" is virtually identical to a new 10"
