Hi all,
In the middle of fitting a standard refurbed 1275 instead of the 998. Only mods r basically a stage 1 (bbw needle, red spring, 2.5" pancake k&n, exhaust/manifold etc).
Ive recenlty purchased a refurbed hif44 carb already mounted on a manifold, however, all the pictures ive seen of the hif44 have all mechanisms and nozzles the other way around to mine. As u look at the carb with the manifold nearest you, my throttle and choke is on the left side?
Is this because its one of a twin setup, if so does this matter? I typed the part number of the manifold into google and it said its from a cooper(so not a aftermarket performance manifold as advertised?!) with the type of manifold in mind, should i have no probs with the clearence of the k&n and the bulkhead.
(I did used the search tool but couldnt find answer)
Many Thanks....

I've got one which I'm told is an MG Metro manifold with BC & M-AC/R stamped on the top (actually I've got
two and they both have it).
Nial.
