Hello everyone.

Some may know but when i bought my mini some 5 years ago the first thing I did was convert from auto to manual but kept the auto subframe.

Due to the fram being wider I have simply whacked a spacer plate in one side but you can tell the engine is not fitted level.

Now, MiniSport do a conversion kit consisting of 2 chunks of metal and 2 new mounts for £25 plus P&P - which to me is a bit of a rip!

Anyone got one of these kits laying about and are prepared to save me some beer tokens and draw round them / give me some details so i can make my own?

Cheers all.

I am litterally just doing this myself.... (auto -> manual + kept the auto subframe)

I used 2 plates of 10cm ish and 3-4mm thick i think.... (dont quote me)

On the gearbox side I used a manual engine mount, on the other I used the auto one, but changed the bit with the bush on...

hope this helps (cost me nothing as I had all the bits, all i needed was some metal for the plates and and a single manual bush)

The subframe i have is perfectly fine, infact i rebuilt it and it is somewhat less aggro to make a kit than change the frame
