Year: 1987
Description of problem (please be as in depth as possible): Hey guys im buying this alternator very shortly;

But i also need a new belt thingy so which one of these do i need?

expensive?? eer...sure! also if u read the desctription that belt is for air condition equiped minis

what engine have you got, im guessing a 998 for the year of the car in which case you want a normal belt without the multi groves, ie the "cheaper" one

Honestly i dont know anything at all, I just drive the thing lol, cheers :thumbsup: (its a 998)

EDIT; just realised my current belt is made of teeth, does this matter?

there teeth going side to side rather than around the circumfrance? it should be alright anyhow

If you need it quickly, just got to halfords. They'll stock one and it won't cost that much more than most online places.

id go for the cheaper one, looks fine, imagine youve checked but make sure is the correct size belt for your engine though :thumbsup:

I pretty much just bought it and my new alternator but thats online, so here we come battery power!
