Hello there,

Does anybody know how to convert a lefthand petrol tank into a right hand one?

I want to convert my mini to a twin tank mini but don't want to spend almost £400 doing so.

If anyone has any information on how to do it that would be great

i wouldn't have thought you could due to the one side being moulded to sit around the shock tower, you would pretty much have to make your own mirrored fuel tank, i guess its possible but not worth the hassle.

I also believe the filler necks are angled differently but don't hold me to that

it is possible but only if you are a good sheet metal worker and good with the welder. Lots of effort,but then its cheaper. Good luck

it can be done this was in my last car.

my last mini. we made the right hand tank from the left hand one but used 25 litre tanks not 35 like the one above. takes abit of doin but not head scratchingly hard.
