CAn you secure the 3 point harness to the normal seat belt part on the c pillar. so i can have back seat passengers also is there some way in which i can have people in my back seat and be able to use 4 point harnesses?

But to give you a straight answer, I would question the strength of the C pillar, although I think people have used that mounting point before. The best place is to use the rear seat belt point on the rear bulkhead bit, using spreader plates as well.

The rear strap has to be at an angle which is 45degrees or less from the floor of the car and as straight as possible, and therefore can only be attatched directly to the bolt in the bottom corner of the rear seats.

EDIT: I don't know what buckets you have, but there is a compromise. If you have harnesses that attach to eyelets then read on. Drill and thread one hole next to the seat belt bit on the exhaust tunnel, and another one by the front selt belt mount on the inner sill. Now you can have you harnesses when you don't have rear passengers, and by unclipping the harness from the eyelet you can swap over to using normal seat belts at the front for when you do have rear passengers. Its a fair bit of hassle, but its pretty much the only way you can do it.

hi i had this setup on my mk2 golf and i kept getting pulled over by the police because they could see the belt hanging and kept thinking that i wasnt wearing a seatbelt they actually told me to take one of the belts out (either the standard one or the harness) lolI don't know what buckets you have, but there is a compromise. they might slip off the top though if there are no holes for the straps to go through. But if you had a headrest they will go through thre.
