Used to airsoft alot but havent been for ages now there are a few forums about where you can sell it such as arnies airsoft, and zeroin but you need to be aware of the vcra and the laws concerning airsoft these days. Not sure on value it would depend on exact condition and accessories but probably arround £100 to £150 but you would get a better valuation on an airsoft forum.

They are £175 New.They look great fun i just had to check them out on the Web.Selling one as above said has rules by Law.The gun shops buy them but offer such a small amount. You must make sure they are 18 and take there full details also. The Law are very sharp on all guns that look real.Try for £100-£125 approx.

You must be in the VCRA as an active airsofter. Every time you go to a recognized shoot you clock in, if you go 3 or 5 (not sure) times a year then you get put in the system and can purchase a weapon.
You can go and sell to any odd jobby (legally). All their details will be in a database. Its like a baby gun license

please note, if you do decide to sell your gun you are not permitted to do so on TMF as it is specifically against the rules as per the extract from the Rules and Regs found at the top of this page

The sale of Weapons/firearms is strictly prohibited on TMF any topics or classifieds will be removed.

Isn't it really a toy though?

Can still see why you wouldn't want it sold here though, too much of a hassle concerning laws etc. I presume.

airsoft is more replica than toy and as said in jimmyh's post you have to be registered to buy and sell and need to be 18 or over. Technically it does fall into the firearms/weapons category and is not allowed in our Classifieds

You dont technically need to be registered to buy and you definitely dont need to be to sell. The registration just makes it easyer to buy all you need to do is be able to prove that you are a regular airsofter at an airsoft site (not just shooting mates in your back garden) which i believe is classed as attending 3 games in no less than 2 months (in 1 year). might find some useful info here

Unfortunately most gun shops wont have anything to do with them. There are a few airsoft shops that will sell them for you though.

I thought there were two sides to air soft.

Theres the replica's which are real colours.

And the toys which are the 50% bright colour/ clear.

However, both are still weapons.

Actually, does that mean we cant sell big spanners and breaker bars? if being carried in the cabin of a car, they can be classed by the police as on offensive weapon.

airsoft guns is a fancy name for bb guns, there just a fair bit more powerful that the £5 pistol you used to get at a market as a kid, this one in about 270 fps (feet per second) and we used to shoot each other, we always wore full face masks like you do at paint balling.

as to the laws of selling, anyone can buy one that is over 50% a bright colour, (two tone)
but to buy an all black one, you must be registered to an airsoft site ect or have a re-enactment licence (people use airsoft guns during battle re-enactments)

i wont sell the gun here of course, just wondering if anyone could help.

it is seriously good fun though and in my opinion better that paint balling because of the realism and the fact you can actually aim lol

i used to use it in the forest a few years ago with my mates (who all had guns) before the new laws came about,
a dog walker (old lady) called the police and told them there was a man with a large rifle walking about in the forest, (my mate)

as you can imagine the police went mental and an armed response unit was called out, luckly for us the normal police got there first as saw we where just kids.(i was about 13)

we spent 6 hours in a cell and one of my mates guns got incinerated, the rest of us got to keep them under parental supervision,

i havent used the gun since and the other day at work a guy said his son was into airsoft, i mentioned about my gun and it got me thinking i might aswell sell it,

i dont really know why i bored you all with that but thats my story lol
