hello, my first real post, from the newbie section
i have a 1978 1275 GT austin mini, i want to run 10"x6" wheels prefurably minilites, i have a set of sportspack arches, which are not fitted (what is the best way to do fit these?), and also i dont have any bumpers on or with the car, will the arches look right without any bumpers, just really confused with what to do....
all help is really appreciated
thank you

as the sportpack arches are designed for 13 inch wheels the 10's may look too small in the arches but you may be able to get away with 12's also if it is a deseamed mini it will look ok without bumpers but if it isnt you will have the lip on them and would look odd without a nice shiny bumper on, this is all my thoughts on the matters and personal opinions will vary i imagine

as long as you have disk brakes and wheels with a big off set you should be able to fill the arches out

sports pack car's also have 6 inch wide wheels

sports pack arches have cut outs for the bumpers so if yours doesn't have any you will need to fill the cut outs

maybe some fibreglass arches then as you can get different sizes so would suit the wheels to a tee

excellent, well i have the fiesta conversion on the front and was am going to use superfins on the back, and my arches havent been cut out yet, there just a basic mould.
Also one big question i have, what is the best way to fit the arches, thank you

the reason why i ask all this is because i got the arches when i bought the car, and it ran standard steelies, but am desperate to run 10" wheels

The best arches, and arguably the best looking arches, for 10" wheels are the original 'Group 2' arches which carry the chrome trim strip over the arches.
