has anyone got a horn realy and wiring loom plug for the relay off an spi / mpi as i am fited the mpi steering column to my car and i need to add a relay for the horn to work.

Just add a relay at the horn using the purple wire to terminal 86

MPI's were the only ones with relays. Mark's diagram will sort you out. I told you the horn would be the most difficult bit!

i no what you mean now mate i have got all the rest of the mpi column it in and working i just need to sort out the horn now and theres me thinking the horn was going to be the easy bit lol

thanks for your reply againg mark but i still need the relay off an mpi or can i just use one of any car?

No specific relay needed, a standard 4 pin changeover relay, just a normal 30amp one will suffice, the horn doesn't draw anywhere near that sort of current.

Obviously a small motor factors should have them for a lot less coin than the £6 Halfords charge.
