Hi all,
A mate of mine, kept on at me for a drag race on my private road in his dolomite against my MPI. My MPI has a stage one kit and has always been serviced at correct intervals, well looked after etc. His dolomite is a 1973 2 litre sprint which he has just rebuilt. Now to be honest when it came down to it I had a feeling he was gonna really wipe the floor with me seeing as though his car should have 125 bhp compared to my 70-75, even with the weight difference i didnt think i would stand a chance. But we raced and I completely trounced him, he was so sure he was going to win as well, have any of you lot had any experience of 'giant killing', beating much more powerful cars? obviously on private roads of course.
