is it only me thats thinkings its a bit of a bummer, that you need to go and collect your items on the 2nd and pay them there to get the vat free day;

as i wreaaly could do with a gearbox rebuild kit without the vat, but i'm not able to come to the uk this weekend

bummer acutally could have saved me a bit of money...

Surely you wouldn't save enough to pay for the trip anyway? Isn't there anyone who could pop in for you?

its almost economical;
maybe if i pay a fiver..

but also a day out and everything, but i read on the site you need to pay for the items there...

If you can get a business (not sure if you have your own or have a friendly boss!?) to order from minispares and provide a VAT number from your country, then they won't charge VAT anyway......... . Then ask for the TMF+ discount...... RESULT!

saturday...

but you can already order things online, but you have to collect it at potters bar...
i work at a company that has a vat number but they wont like it if i do something like that.

Does the stuff have to be collect on the saturday, even if you pay by card over the phone on the saturday and collect later?
anyone happen to be driving through nottingham on the way there?

I saw this and was like omg what a saving but then realised need to collect in person, Im in Bristol to so not exactly close lol.

I guess thats why its collect in person as only so many can do so.

I sure wish I had more dough at mo to buy any way before vat goes up to 20% next year!!

i dont live far from mini spares, pottersbar ( about 25 mins). if you want to order something and pay i can collect it for you and then you can arrrange a courier to collect your goods from my house. i can weigh the item/s and let you know how heavy they are.

I'll start another topic on this later this morning. This is a Minispares warehouse open day at Potters Bar, with those who attend/make orders for collection able to take advantage of the extra discount on the day. Orders that are taken will need to be paid for by whoever collects them.
