Or maybe not bother with a cover at all and just let the paintwork do the job it was designed to do? (i.e. protect the metal underneath!!)

Many people do use covers to protect their pride and joy. I have used a good quality one for ages with no problems and no trapped moisture.

The problem is I'm struggling to stop the window leak I don't have. Much experience with these kind of windows only had one out before and that was from a jcb Lol

This ain't much help but ... paint a moon and some wolves on that thing. Paints gone crazy night sky look about it.
