ok i've almost finished my 998 with a modified 940 head.

in the middle of putting the head on looking at the rockers they don;t seem to line up quiet right,
the valves are not hitting the centre they are catching the side, which i think will cause something to twist

i was told that 998 and 1275 rockers are the same but could some one conferm this for deff. as it doens't look right compared to a 998 head.

so in sort are 998 and 1275 rockers the same thanks steve

Yes rocker's for 1275's and 998's are the same, they do sit to one side on the rocker arm itself, hence why after market roller rockers are offset to centralise them more on the valvetrain.

I had thought that 1275 rocker pads had an oval shape....while small bore were round. ( ? )
