Advice please for Drum to Disk Upgrade
As stated above I have a 1979 standard saloon (998cc) which has original drums.
I have managed to acquire an 8.4" disk hub set with everything new except for the hub body
from a 1984 saloon.
Being fairly new to this .. I think I need a different drive shafts/CV joints, but am not sure.
How about the rest of the suspension is that different, or even the spline on the inboard
drive joint of engine.
Please help .. Any advice on what is required for this upgrade would be greatly appreciated.

The drum drive shafts will fit but you will need disc brake CV joints. It would be a good idea to get new clips for the drive shafts whilst your ordering them they are only a few pence.

I'll understand much more once I have dropped subframe and engine away.

I took some things apart this evening and discovered something confusing. I have "hardy spicer" type axles with universal joints

I am really confused how this:

fits onto that...
