Hi,
What are the best shocks to use for hillclimb racing? I have the adjustable Hi-Los on the front.
Thanks

I have GAZ fitted, and a set of lowered ones (or standards) shouldnt cost any more than £160. I cant say I have had a problem with them but in the end you get what you pay for.

Well if you only have £200 you certinally won't get the best. But on road tyres with the standard spring rates most of the readily available shocks will be up to the job.

I'd buy the lightest which are the pro techs I think.

As Will says most decent uprated shocks will suit your needs.

In case you're interested I think Trax Spax work out at £200 a corner and Ohlins are near enough a grand a corner.

Probably the best you can get are remote reservoir Ohlins - a beautiful piece of engineering.
