I am in need of 1 13x7 Gold superlite wheel for a Mini. I was in an accident this last friday and one wheel was cracked at the lip.

No suppliers have them in stock in the US any more. If you can help in ANY way please contact me ASAP.

I am making calls frantically trying to locate one.

Thanks everyone!

Thank you, I'm a bit concerned those are different than the actual superlites specs though. I will double check. Good find.

I know the cap says superlite, but are you sure they are superlites and not ultralites? I can't say i've seen supers with the bolts before.

http://www.minispare...mp;prod_id=1937 - Ultras... they also do the supers.

I ordered from the first supplier http://www.midlandwh...---4x101.6.html

They are cheaper than the actual manufacturer themselves in AU!

Thanks guys.

The reason they are cheaper is they are not genuine. They are made in china. Alot of people have complained of poor quality laquer peeling off within a year of ownership.

From Superlite the manufacturer themselves in Australia.....

The gold is definitely different to what we have now also we do not have rivets in our wheel or have you just glued them on.

So basically any wheel with rivets is a knockoff.... Including my entire set which would explain the crack.

Bummer.

The superlights/ultralight wheels with the rivets in are all split rim look a likes, I've got the same set on mine but in Antracite. All the allen head cap's on the wheels are just stuck on and are such not a proper spilt rim, hence why the price of them is fairly reasonable....You look up the price of a proper split rim and your looking around £100+ for a wheel on its own.

Are sure you have thr right superlite?? As the ones pictured look like the ones made in Britain

http://www.superlite...lpage.asp?cat=1

Whereas the "Australian" superlite you refer to are named "performance superlight", which look like they are powder coated, not painted, and have a sharper spoke compared to the Briitsh make aswell as a different cast....

All I know is this. I got the wheel from Huddersfield Spares.

And this is what I got. My old wheel is a superlight, new one is an ultralight and the 'gold' is more of a mauve brown....

Insurance adjuster wants to powder coat it to match now. I'd rather get the right wheel.
