I tried to read that, but it's very difficult without any punctuation...

There is one place inside the wheel arch that you can get water coming in, around the fresh air vent but normally only when you are driving the car in the rain.

Hows the condition of your windscreen rubber? rain could be coming in from there. I had a leak around where your first pic is but only when moving, i thought it was due to the heating duct holes under the wings as i had no vent pipes, turned out to be coming in through my rusty scuttle panel. You scuttle doesnt seam to be in too bad a condition from your first pic, whats it look like at the top corner?

*I know i said it happened to me when moving, but it could also come in through a rusty scuttle or windscreen seal while stationary

ive had a poke around and there is a small leak in the bottom left window seal but that has been stoped at the moment with a plastic sheet on the screen in picture 2 can you see the white mark ? there is a very small hole there like pin sized would water get in through there and to the floor or or is that bit by the arch ive double checked all my check strap seals also ive noticed it takes a lot of rain for long periods of time to reach the floor also does any one have a picture of where the drain holes in the sill should be as i dont think i have any :S cheers

What are the rear window seals like?

My Mini that I've just bought, had to have these replaced, as they were leaking and the water was running down and into the floor.
After changing them, the floor has been dry ever since.

*edit*

Might not be applicable, not sure I quite understand where your leak/water is.

Water is by its nature pervasive the tiniest opporttunit and its straight in, and mini's not renowned for being too waterproof - I think what you're stating is that water is accumulating in the drivers footwell even when the car hasn't been driven? - scuttle looks ok but equally a fair bit of filler has been used and the car has been bitten by rust mites and repairs have been at best an attmept as cosmetic (no offence intended by the way)- causes can be too many to list from leaky heater matrix, to shot screen rubber, to air vent holes not to mention those non age related like shot doorsteps and holes in the inner sills - a tracing method voiced in many similar posts on here is to use some talc - spread sparingly around sit in the car and get willing assistant to hose the car down - if you've still got the original floorpan then they'll be a bung in the right position so temporarily take it out to release the trapped water
