Tim Water Temp Gauge Connections?

I cant remember what the connections are for my Tim electric warer temp gauge. Its got green, Red and Black wires. Does anyone know which one goes to the sender??

The color codes you listed are pretty standard for aftermarket gauges.

Generally...
black = earth
red = switched 12V supply
green = sense
Sense in this case would be the wire going to the temperature sending unit. Remember that the TIM gauge will not work with the Smiths sending unit. Use the sending unit that should have come with your TIM gauge.

If there is a white wire, that is usually for illumination.
