Hi guys I just bought a new grill for my mini but it doesn't have the holes drilled in the back of it To attached it to the mini was just wondering if there is any other way of fitting it and how you have fitted yours ?

Cheers miniallsort

"Grille Buttons" make removal and refitting of the grille for servicing and maintainance so much easier. Once fitted you just undo the two buttons by hand and lift the grille away. Also gets rid of the corrosion issues of all those holes in the front panel for the self tapping screws. A set of buttons cost about £6 and fitting them involves drilling two holes into the front panel and permenanatly fitting two studs to the panel. Then lining up the grille with the studs and drilling two further holes in the grille itself...then that's it all done!!... Removal and refitting of the grille then only takes seconds!! Some people choose to rivet the chrome ends to the grille itself so that it can be lifted away in one peice, but you can just trap them in place with the grille and then tighten the buttons to hold them in place.
