Hallow Hallow,

I'm trying to cancel my xbox live subscription... there is NO option!|

Does anyone know how it's done please? Mine's on "automatic renewal" and I don't know how to turn it off...

Thanks thanks :)

I'm pretty sure there is an option on your settings in the main menu, if you cant find it then why don't you just cancel the direct debit?

Im just going to say this, its an absolute pain in the bum!

I wanted to do the same thing about a year ago, you need to ring them up and give them loads of details etc.

Eventually when you do get it disconnected from the payments and your console, the card you paid with will be put on Microsoft's black list and then you can never buy XBL with that card on debit again. Thats what the XBL person said to us.

That sounds legal, :)

I'm sure I've heard of people being charged even after cancelling their subs too. Glad I got mine from play.

Yeah we ( me and my dad ) thought it was a bit on the dodgey side =/ , I bet Microsoft have tonnes of lawyers which protect them and expoloit small loopholes along the line.

In the end we were so angry with Microsoft because of the whole ordeal we bought a PS3, and im pleased to announce no problems

I went onto my xbox page thingy online.
Theres an option there to 'cancel' but you cant do it from the xbox itself (at least i couldn't figure it out)

It took some finding but its there somewhere :D

Its been over a year since ive been on the online thing though so its probably changed.

also, its not a direct debit that goes out, its like a running card transaction thing. Cancel the card and they cant take your money...
