If it's missing, then you will need an oil pressure line that is connected to the front of the engine block at the oil pressure switch, using a t-peice and/ or adapter if you also intend on keep the oil pressure switch.

pipe/line

T- Peice

adapter

...& bulbs (Presuming that your bulb holders are the push in type, and not the earlier bayonet or screw in type fitting)

The adapter AVV IT has linked to, is not for use with the T piece he suggests... his suggestion scres directly into the block, without the need for a T-piece.
If you want to retain your orange oil dash light, and get the oil gauge working, order the pipe and T piece as listed above, but order this adapter

OOOPs!! "L400RAS" is quite correct, the adapter I suggested is for direct attachment of the oil line & not for use with the T peice & pressure switch. The copper pipe you are referring to sounds like a gas type fitting where the pipe has been cut through to disconnect it, but it's hard to say without seeing a pic. See if you can undo the fitting on the back of the gauge. If you can unscrew and remove a female union complete with the end peice of pipe, that should reveal a male brass fitting that the new pipe/line will connect to.

The earlier type non push in bulbs are difficult to get hold of, you might get lucky and get some on flea bay but I struggled to find any at all when I needed them. You could always upgrade to a more modern push in bulb holder and then use the more readily available push in bulb. Its quite simple to fit and just involves cutting two wires and then splicing a the new bulb holder like this one
