Oil Leak.. Crank Seal... Help

My poor little mini is really leaking oil now after every run. It wasnt leaking oil until I gave it an oil change. The oil appears to be coming from around the bottom crank pulley (radiator side). I guess the seal.
Is this any easy diy job to replace? Does engine have to come out?
Does anyone know of a garage in stevenage, hertfordshire area which specialises in old minis?
Cheers

Engine doesnt need to come out. You will require a 1-5/16" AF socket for the pulley. And possilby a puller ofr the pully, and patience...
Get a puller...
I spent all weekend soaking mine and trying to prize it off with two screwdrivers...
Went to the shops this morning, got a puller (€7.95) and it was off in two minutes...

Have you got a picture of the puller you bought? where you buy it from?

Just a couple of screwdrivers. With the rad out theres a fair bit of space to work in anyway.

I live in Cyprus but it looks like the 6" version shown here.

I never used a puller.

That is what mates told me... and I looked it up on here too...
However, with the engine out and on the garage floor (and gallons of penetrating oil later) I couldn't shift it at all...

A good Mini chap in your area is Chris Spennewyn of CS Motors who is just North of Hitchin on the Bedford Road towards RAF Henlow. Go out of Hitchin, out of the 30 limit and through the 40 limit. Just after the end of the 40 limit end there are some buildings on the RHS and his workshop in in there, Just look for loads of Minis. He even restores Minis for British Motor Heritage,
