after passing my test and pushing my car to its limits my little 998 engine is getting a bit boring!
so i want to get a stage 1 kit to give it that kick that it needs, i have been looking in the mags and online but i just want a bit of advice on which one i should get, i will pay the extra for a s/s exhaust.
just some prices and links would be very helpful and if anyone has had one which they would recommend that would be great
thanks muchly
nate

Get the stage one kit form Minispares, this is the "Proper" item using the legendary RC40 exhaust system.
Definatley avoid any kits using 2" exhausts these are a waste of time on a 998.
Also use a replacement K&N element in the standard air box instead of the "Cone or Pancake" type, the replacement element is easier to set up and is more than adequate for even a mildly tuned 998.

i'm going for the stage one kit from minispares for mine, comes with everything you need to fit aswell :wales:
if you have the extra money you could get the new head to go with it. i don't
so just getting the exhaust

i dont really think you can get the original air box in the space between the carb and the bulk head as the alloy inlet is alittle bit longer

The standard air filter housing should fit OK
