That's unusual, normally comes out through the diff seal or from the lug..

May just be worth checking the bolts are done up to torque ( 18lbft ), if you find that they are not, or more likely one of them spins, then it'll need helcoiling.

As for changing, fairly easy, hack the car up on one side, crack the top ball joint and track rod end, withdraw the drive shaft and then undo the bolts... replace the gasket, diff seal and O ring around detent. stick it all back together..

If you get the angle of the car right, you won't need to drain the oil.

To add to the above post, also the bolt to the right of the leak looks like it is partially undone.

More importantly, how did you make your exhaust spit flames like in your other video!?

I've just been playing with an exhaust bracket so was looking at the same bolts. I discovered they bottom out in the holes if there's no washer (or exhaust hanger, could be how it got stripped).

You could look at tapping a size up, but there isn't much spare metal. If the bolt grips at all you could swap it for a stud and glue it in, but that might make removing or shimming the cover a bit more fun.
