and i relly need to change the brake pads some time soon
but im looking for a softer compound pad as the standard
ones are very wooden and are not to good at the stopping
buissiness just want some opinions as to what to get

From what ive heard though ebc have changed suppliers or owners or something like that and their now not as good as they used to be.
I think ill be trying some mintex competition type ones next.

I use the M1144's on std 8.4 callipers with drilled and grooved disc's and its more than upto the job, proper anchor on and it stops you in no time, and for the first time I've been able to lock my front wheels up when braking.i use ebc yellow stuff.
From what ive heard though ebc have changed suppliers or owners or something like that and their now not as good as they used to be.
I think ill be trying some mintex competition type ones next.
Mate runs the carbon pad's are he loves them, even when used on the road they still work really well.

ill give them a try next thanks, iv got grooved discs. I was cooking the standard cheap pads on trackdays, and ive been working my way through different pads, seeing which i prefer best, so far its yellow stuff, but i havent tried the mintex ones yet.
