Can anyone tell me what I need to make the brake hoses for the mk1 fiesta brake conversion? Are they easy enough to make up by yourself?

I did email MRA Minis about making me a set but they never go back to me.

Thanks in advance.

Use the goodridge ones from demon tweeks, then you only need to spend £2bn on an 11mm spanner to seal them

Hi, i recently ordered my fiesta caliper conversion hoses from BGC MOTORSPORT they provided a great service and i had my hoses delivered within 2 days for £32 ish.
The bits you need are  2 x - 20 Degree Banjo Fitting, Zinc – 10mm – (5093-3P)
 2 x – Sealing Washer – Dowty Seal, Zinc – 10mm – (DW38U)
 2 x – Banjo Bolt, Zinc – 10 x 1.00 Thread – (992-32P)
 2 x – Bulkhead Fitting Female, 3/8” UNF Concave Seat, Zinc –(6001-3P)
 2 x – Stainless Braided Steel Hoses – 320mm – (600-3)

I found them on the net and they were the cheepest i could find, RALLY DESIGNS wanted about £50!
Hope this helps.

Andy.

For the genuine mk1 fiesta brake set up I’m currently selling, not the later mk2’s, standard 8.4” disk brake mini hoses fit, as they’re the same imperial thread.

Really? I always thought I need the hoses for both mk1 and mk2 calipers.

Just to clarify, the hoses on my 1989 mini's 8.4" disc brakes will fit the mk1 fiesta caliper?

Did'nt all ford calipers had metric fittings?
Mk2 calipers definately are 1.00mm threads, mini hoses are straight and will foul the wheel when fitted as they exit in a different place and angle.
